Cool!

I tried the link, and then had to add some interests (because i had none in this incarnation). How do you get it to post to your journal? I tried copying, and that was a bust.

Scroll down on the page; eventually you'll reach a text box containing the HTML code you need to paste into your journal update text box to make it work.

LOL! I did the same thing as Eowyn. Ran it once and then decided I needed more entries (but it doesn't update for 24 hours so be warned if it doesn't look like it's added anything the second time).

Fun!

WONDERFUL MEME

Well, Karen, ever since I've known you, you've had a broad range of really wonderful and fascinating interests! This just proves it.

Are you sure you wouldn't like to do a Cortez Beach story now? Maybe we could work in the Bowers Egyptian exhibit we saw Saturday, you know, one of the mummies comes to life, and wanders around Cortez? Something like that?

I also want you to write your SCA/Society like Renaissance Italy book someday. . .

Re: WONDERFUL MEME

You flattering thing, you! It may actually only prove that I'm pretty selective about the interests I listed, and I just didn't bother with a lot of the really common ones. And it's kind of slanted toward the original purpose of the journal, which was to track my costuming and needlework progress.

We can try to start a Cortez Beach story--how would you like to proceed?

Hmm

Sure are a lot of people interested in corsets.

Makes one wish for a degree in sociology.

Re: Hmm

Oh, you should check out the groups...I don't think many people mean quite the same thing I do by corsets....

Re: Hmm

Amazing how such a basic item can be put through so many interesting permutations. I suppose one could say the same of dog breeding.

And last night, during the discussion of costumes for the upcoming performance of 'Little Red Leather Riding Hood' I found myself pontificating that 'no, what you're describing is a 'busk.'' Heh.

Re: Hmm

"Little Red Leather Riding Hood" is raising all sorts of frightening images all by itself....
